If you require repeat medication, please complete the tear off slip on the right hand side of your computerised prescription and post it through the black letter box outside the surgery main doors. Please ensure that you tick the medication required.
If you wish us to return your prescription, please include a stamped, addressed envelope.
You can also order on-line via the link at the top of this page. The registration process is simple, please ask a receptionist for an application form.
Boots and Lloyds also offer a collection service.
Please allow 2 full working days for the prescription to be ready and remember that Saturday and Sunday are not working days.
The dispensary is for patients who live more than 1 mile from a retail pharmacy. If you believe you fulfill this criteria (which is set by the government), please let us know as the practice is able to dispense most medications prescribed before you leave the surgery (saving any delay or need to visit a pharmacy).
The dispensary accepts telephone requests for repeat prescriptions from elderly and housebound patient only. Calls will be accepted between 10:00 - 12:00 and 16:00 - 17:00. The dispensary is closed to patients between 1-2pm daily.
The dispensary number is 01335 301840
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a Clinical Pharmacist, Doctor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once, often twice a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Medication can only be issued for 28 days, this is an NHS wide approach and not specific to The Surgery.
